The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '57 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The Roasted Ash body is finished in a sleek British Racing Green nitro lacquer, this Strat boasts a Journeyman finish. The Journeyman is a very lightly aged nitro finish; this gives the look and feel of a vintage guitar that has been lovingly cared for over the years. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The Rift Sawn Roasted Maple neck has a smooth finish. With a 9.5" radius and 21 6105 frets, the '57 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '57 Style Soft "V" neck shape and a 1.650" Nut Width. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of Hand Wound Fender '50s Strat pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
