The combination of a mahogany body and a three-piece mahogany "Thin U" neck ensures a solid, resonant tone with excellent playability. The Macassar ebony fingerboard with a 350mm radius, ESP flag inlays, and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets enhances precision and reduces wear, making this guitar a reliable choice for long-term use.
For professional performance, the EC-1000 is equipped with a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, as well as LTD locking tuners. These features ensure excellent tuning stability and allow for quick and easy string changes, making it ideal for both stage and studio environments.
At the heart of the EC-1000's sound are its Fishman Fluence Modern active humbucker pickups. The ceramic bridge pickup and alnico neck pickup provide exceptional tonal versatility. Each pickup offers two voiceings, activated via a push-pull control. The bridge pickup delivers a high-output ceramic humbucker tone in Voice 1 for crisp, aggressive crunch, and a modern passive attack in Voice 2 for organic, dynamic distortion. The neck pickup's Voice 1 offers a boosted, articulate alnico sound, while Voice 2 provides a fluid, clean tone perfect for solos or rhythm work.
