The Eastman FullerTone DC'62 is a versatile double-cutaway electric guitar built for players who demand a wide range of tones and exceptional playability. Designed by Otto D'Ambrosio, the DC'62 shares the innovative FullerTone neck joint with the SC'52. This two-bolt, long-tenon design maximises neck-to-body contact, resulting in increased resonance, sustain, and stability, rivalling set-neck instruments while retaining the lightweight character of a bolt-on.
The DC'62 features an HSS (humbucker-single-single) pickup configuration, providing a vast sonic palette. A custom Tonerider gold-foil covered soapbar humbucker in the bridge position delivers powerful, thick tones perfect for rock and heavier styles, while two Tonerider noiseless stacked single-coils in the neck and middle positions offer clear, articulate tones suitable for clean playing, blues, and funk. This versatile combination allows players to cover virtually any musical genre.
Like the SC'52, the DC'62 is constructed with premium components. The ergonomic double-cutaway body provides easy access to the upper frets, enhancing playability. Premium CTS pots and Orange Drop capacitors offer smooth and precise tone control, while the Aumsen tremolo with a brass block ensures excellent intonation and tuning stability. Custom staggered tuners further enhance tuning stability and create optimal string tension. Available in Moss Black, Desert Sand, and Ice Blue Metallic Truetone Matte finishes with brushed aluminum pickguards, the DC'62 is a visually stunning and sonically powerful instrument.
