This signature model is a unique take on the Duesenberg Paloma, meticulously fine-tuned to meet Joey's specific requirements as a slide guitarist. The foundation of its rich tone is a solid alder body, chosen for its quick attack and impressive sustain. This tonewood provides a balanced platform for the custom-designed pickups that are at the heart of this guitar's versatility.

The pickup configuration is a standout feature, offering a wide range of tonal possibilities. In the neck position, a custom-voiced Gold-Foil single-coil pickup delivers exceptional clarity and transparency, perfectly complementing Joey's nuanced playing style. A classically wound single-coil in the middle position adds further tonal options, while a custom version of Duesenberg's innovative Split/King Duo-Coil pickup resides in the bridge position.
