The inclusion of a bevelled armrest further enhances player comfort, allowing for extended playing sessions whether seated or standing. The guitar's tonal foundation is built upon a solid Sitka spruce top. This wood is chosen for its rigidity and strength, contributing to a notable dynamic response and touch sensitivity. The spruce top allows the nuances of a player's technique to be clearly projected. Complementing the spruce top is a myrtlewood back, which is arched to enhance acoustic projection and sustain, resulting in a full and resonant sound.
For amplified performance, the Grand Regal GA-MY Bevel is equipped with the L.R. Baggs Element Active System electronics. This system is designed to deliver a natural acoustic tone and dynamic response when the guitar is plugged in. Attention to detail extends to the guitar's hardware, including ebony bridge pins.
