Caroline Guitar Company Wave Cannon MKII | Distortion

The Caroline Guitar Company Wave Cannon MKII is not your average distortion pedal. It offers impressive mild-to-medium crunch tones, but what sets it apart is its ability to provide an abundance of gain and volume, ensuring it never falls short when paired with clean amps. The Focus setting lets you control midrange frequencies precisely, while the Rumble control adds just the right amount of bass, especially at lower gain settings. The Havoc switch unleashes feedback and unpredictable sonic textures. It's a versatile pedal that's ready to push your amp to new heights.

Please Note: For Havoc to work, the Wave Cannon has to see the guitar as either the very first pedal in your chain, or prefaced by true-bypass, non-buffered effect pedals that are turned off. Results may vary.

Description

The Caroline Guitar Company Wave Cannon MKII isn't your typical distortion pedal. While it certainly delivers some seriously cool mild-to-medium crunch tones, it's capable of so much more. What sets it apart is its ability to take your amp to the next level with an abundance of gain and volume. You see, the folks at Caroline were tired of distortion pedals that fell short when paired with clean amps or were quieter than expected. The Wave Cannon II addresses this frustration head-on.

One of its standout features is the Focus setting, which gives you precise control over your midrange frequencies. Whether you want to scoop them out for a deep, scooped tone, flatten them for a balanced sound, or boost them to cut through the mix, the Wave Cannon MKII has you covered.

The Rumble control is another gem, allowing you to dial in just the right amount of bass to suit your taste, and it really shines at lower gain settings. Now, don't be surprised if flipping this switch momentarily cuts your signal - that's perfectly normal and part of its unique character.

But here's where the Wave Cannon MKII truly becomes an experimentalist's dream: the Havoc switch. Hold it down, and you'll unleash a world of feedback and unpredictable sonic textures that can take your music to places you've never imagined.

In a world filled with distortion pedals, the Wave Cannon MKII stands out as a versatile, no-nonsense solution that's ready to push your amp to its limits and beyond.

Please Note: For Havoc to work, the Wave Cannon has to see the guitar as either the very first pedal in your chain, or prefaced by true-bypass, non-buffered effect pedals that are turned off. Results may vary.
