The Cub was amongst one of the first amplifiers adorned with the legendary Bad Cat name. It’s famed for it’s extremely simple yet versatile circuitry, offering incredible punch and chime whilst setting the standard for touch responsiveness. Over the years the amp’s design has been refined and improved with every iteration bringing something new to the cab. This latest design is no exception.
The Cub features a single channel design with two interchangeable and dynamic overdrive modes. If you’re looking for an amp with a versatile nature then you’re in luck, this amp covers chimey cleans, soaring leads and everything in between! The new Cub also offers two switchable independent master volume controls that can be preset for lead and rhythm volumes alongside Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence controls. It even has a stunning, studio quality reverb, how sweet is that!
This 30 watt head is powered by a pair of EL34 power tubes and also features 3x 12AX7 preamp tubes, so rest assured, its loaded with that vintage tube sound we all know and love
