The Black Cat's history goes all the way back to the original boutique amplifier designed and hand-crafted in Southern California, for 2022 Bad Cat has gone back to the drawing board and re-designed this amp from the ground up. The new Black Cat perfectly captures the magic of the original designs but utilises modern engineering and manufacturing techniques to better fit the needs of the modern player.

With two unique channels this amplifier is loaded with tones of tonal options for you to explore! Channel 1 offers a more traditional Black Cast sound, it's bright, clear and remains highly responsive no matter what you chuck at it. Channel 2 has all of the complexity and chime of channel 1 but with plenty of gain on tap, so if you're looking to play some lush leads then you're in the right spot. With two switchable master volumes alongside treble, bass and cut controls you really can sculpt your sound to taste. It even features built in reverb and tremolo! How sweet is that!

This 20 watt combo is powered by a pair of EL34 power tubes and also features 3x 12AX7 preamp tubes, so rest assured, it's loaded with that vintage tube sound we all know and love. It also features a custom designed 12" Celestion speaker which offers crystal clear clarity.

At no extra cost, this amp has a custom outfitting that just oozes class. With a Buttercream Bronco tolex and Tan grille, with Cream piping and Brown handle, this amp looks brilliantly vintage!
