A new and versatile head from Mesa Boogie, and as with most of their products this one punches well above it's weight in terms of tone and volume.
Following on the heels of a long history of Mesa 4xEL84 based amps comes their new Mark Five:35 in a new light to middleweight version of thei mini platform Mark Five:25 that has been a resoundingly well recieved little box of tricks.
Made in Petaluma California using the finest materials and by a team of workers with a very detailed eye for finish quality, we've never seen a flaw on a Boogie yet.
Loaded with four EL84s power tubes and six 12AX7 preamp tubes for a gorgeous all valve sound.
Features 3 wattage modes, a 10W which uses 2 power tubes, a 25W mode that uses 2 power tubes, and a fully cranked up 35W mode that uses all 4 power tubes.
2 fully independant channels on hand with 6 style modes.
Loads of controls on this amp to sculpt your tone from here until next tuesday, with a full 5 band graphic EQ which is footswitchable, channel assignable or bypassable, also a Solo control for each channel, plus several control switches for clean, fat or crunch modes, and gain, treble, mid, bass, presence and master controls for each channel as well.
Reverb is an all tube, long tank spring reverb which is authentic and warm sounding, there is also a fully buffered Tube FX loop as well.
Another neat addition is the CabClone technology which provides a cabinet output simulation making the amp very useful indeed for recording.
