The Gibson Les Paul is one of the most iconic guitars ever put into production, with such a rich history and timeless appeal, the bar has been set pretty high. The 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue is a guitar that builds on over 60 years of innovation and development and pushes ever further forward.

With a Mahogany body, this Les Paul benefits from a Plain Maple top for the ultimate tonewood partnership. Rich and super resonant it offers premium tone and timeless aesthetics. Finished in a super slick Ultra Heavy Aged Double Gold Nitro Lacquer, the attention to detail and craftsmanship show here is incredible, the Murphy Lab really know how to capture the vintage feel.

The Mahogany neck is comfortable, sporting a 50s Rounded Medium "C" profile, topped with a crisp Rosewood fingerboard with classic Gibson Trapezoid inlays, this guitar looks every bit the real deal. With a 24.75" scale length, hide glue fit and narrow tall frets and a 12" radius it retains that classic Les Paul feel. 

The defining feature of this Les Paul is the custom wound Gibson Custom Alnico 3 pickups. According to Gibson these are some of the most historically accurate PAF clones on the market, with an ultra-rich harmonic quality; it's as close as you can get to the classic Les Paul tone.
