Martin Custom Shop 000 14 Fret
Bear Claw & East Indian Rosewood Used
Martin are world renowned for their ability to craft beautiful guitars perfect for the working musician. With their effortless playability and stunning design, they have a really rich history and are considered one of the very best acoustic manufacturers around. If you want the very pinnacle of acoustic guitar construction, there’s only one place to look, the Martin Custom Shop.
Hailing from Nazareth, Pennsylvania is the CF Martin Custom Shop 000-14 Fret. With an incredible Sitka Spruce Bearclaw top you get a really dynamic and vibrant tone. Bearclaw tops are unusual as the figuring pattern is random and many consider that the unique patterns add a degree of added stiffness to the top. Pair that with the highly figured East Indian Rosewood back and sides and you have a tonal dream team, it’s visually and tonally stunning. The 14th fret join allows for great access up the neck and a perfectly poised and balanced playing experience.
The solid Flamed Spanish Cedar neck is an absolute dream to play and is one of the finest necks we have ever seen. With a Full Thickness neck shape, 16” radius, 25.34” scale length and a 1 11/16” nut width, this Martin is supremely comfortable and smooth underhand. The African Blackwood with Sapwood fingerboard is the perfect partner for this neck; beautifully crafted it’s a real treat to play. It has such a distinctive appearance, the contrast between the Blackwood and the pale Sapwood really gives this guitar the ultimate premium vibe.
Used but in amazing condition, this is a serious collectors guitar. Complete with Martin hardcase, it’s a great opportunity to get your hands on a real Custom Shop stunner.
