A stunning Grade-AAA flame maple top finished in Bourbon Burst ignites memories of the finest 50's Bursts while the new Ultra-Modern weight relief, Gibson USA's new technique, delivers enhanced resonance and sustain with an average body weight of just 4lbs 6.7oz.
An asymmetrical slim taper neck profile with a compound radius Rosewood fingerboard provides a comfortable, modern feel with a beautiful rich tone. A TekToid graphite nut reduces friction and allows for greater sustain and more accurate pitch return.
Burstbucker Pro Rhythm and Lead Humbuckers with alnico magnets and mismatched coils hark back to the revered PAF tone that we all love, with push-pull switching on all four knobs allowing for coil tapping on both pickups, a pure bypass and phase reverse. It's amazingly versatile and with so many tonal options it can always find its place in the sonic landscape.
It still however manages to retain the same classic Les Paul vibe that has made the Standard so continually successful.
The 2017 Gibson USA Les Paul Standard T is delivered in a classic brown Gibson hardshell case with a Gibson multi-tool, a premium leather strap, and a polishing cloth.
