A traditional '60s spec Alder body is finished in a cracking Black Relic finish. Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively.
The Quartersawn Maple neck has a smooth finish and an AAA grade Rosewood fingerboard. With a 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets, the '65 Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The ‘65 Strat C profile further increasing playing comfort at both ends of the neck.
With a trio of hand wound Fender Custom Shop ‘65 pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster vibe with a precise tone that still retains its super clarity when you crank up the gain.
