Greg Fessler is known across the globe as one of Fenders highly revered Masterbuilders, a select group of the worlds most esteemed luthiers. With this Godly status, any guitar with his name attached generates a huge amount of interest, and rightly so.
The Fender Custom Shop Greg Fessler Masterbuilt '59 Stratocaster is a great example of the legendary prowess of the Masterbuilders. This guitar is prime Hank Marvin, with its NOS Fiesta Red finish and Gold hardware, this is a real treat from Fender.
The Alder body is finished in a delicious NOS Fiesta Red. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further, it also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively. The NOS finish gives the appearance of a New Old Stock guitar, one that has been perfectly preserved since 1959 and doesn't feature any kind of ageing or relic work.
The AA grade Birdseye Maple neck is a stunner. With a 10/56 V profile, 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets its super resonant and feels incredible underhand. Perfectly balanced and with flawless playability right up the neck, it's a real player's piece.
With a trio of handwound Fender Custom Shop 50s pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
