The "Broadkaster" is the flagship model of the Gretsch centre block line up, designed for uncompromised tone even at high volume, you get a big sound and the classic Gretsch vibe.
With a Laminated Flame Maple body in the stunning Dark Cherry Stain, the Broadkaster benefits from a slightly smaller single cutaway shape for greater comfort and improved feedback resistance. A chambered Spruce centre block provides support and enhanced resonance, this gives a more natural and organic tone while helping to eliminate feedback, even at high volume.
The Maple neck has a rich Ebony fingerboard and sports the Pearloid Thumbnail inlays. With the standard U shape profile and a 12" radius, it's comfortable and really well balanced.
With a Bigsby string-thru tremolo you can nail those slick rockabilly licks without compromising on your tuning stability, it's super stable and super responsive. The two new USA made Full'Tron pickups have a tonal range unlike any other, you still get the vintage Gretsch jangle but now, with extra power in the mids, you can plough right through with a nice overdrive and still retain a beautifully well rounded and balanced tone.
With a deluxe Gretsch hardcase as standard, the Broadkastor is ready to hit the stage or studio and deliver knockout results.
