The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop NAMM Special Racing Stripe Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
A select Alder body is finished in a super cool Sonic Blue with competition stripe finish. Authentically aged, this guitar has the Closet Classic ageing, built as if it was bought new in its respective model year, played maybe a few times per year and then carefully put away, it features a few dings, a checked finish, lightly oxidised hardware and aged plastic parts.
The Maple neck has a smooth finish and a Rosewood fingerboard. With a 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets, this NAMM special model Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The 60's style oval C profile takes this into another realm of comfort.
With a trio of Fender Custom Shop 60s pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. John Mayer was a big fan of this Strat and a quick Google will return loads of pics of Mayer with this in hand!
Used but in great condition, this guitar comes with the original hardcase.
