The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop 62 Relic Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line. This guitar was based around similar specs from a Masterbuilt John Cruz Strat that we had in which was just awesome! So we set the fender Custom Shop the task of recreating them as a lower price point team built guitar.
An Alder body is finished in the iconic Aged Vintage White, one of Fenders all time classic finishes, its a real beauty! Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively.
The plain grain Maple neck offers a 10" radius, AAA Rosewood fingerboard, and 65 Strat profile, it can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of John Cruz designed handwound Fender Fat 50s pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
Supplied with a Fender Custom Shop hard case, this is a real sweet example of Custom Shop quality.
