The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '59 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
A traditional Alder body is finished in a majestic Heavy Relic Surf Green finish. Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes.
The quarter sawn Maple neck has a smooth finish and a AAA-grade Rosewood fingerboard. With a 10" radius and 21 frets, the '59 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '51 Strat U neck shape. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
The defining feature is the signature Ancho Poblano singlecoil pickups, getting progressively hotter from neck to bridge, they are uniquely calibrated and offer a distinct tonal flavour. Overwound by hand they are the holy grail of single coils.
