Since the very dawn of electric guitars, there has been Rickenbacker. Their iconic styling and uncompromised build quality have made them a firm players favourite. The 4003 is their flagship bass model and with its instantly recognisable tone, looks and feel, it's easy to see why they found favour with the likes of Geddy Lee, Bruce Foxton and Lemmy.
With a Maple body finished in the famous Rickenbacker Jetglo, it delivers the ringing sustain and deep punch that all 4003s should have. It's a really comfortable and well balanced shape and the weight is nicely distributed so it's easy to play both standing and sitting down.
The Maple neck features a 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard, with a 33.25" scale length and the timeless Rickenbacker triangle inlays it's as cool now as it was back in '79. With dual truss rods and Schaller Deluxe tuners you get incredible stability, it's a powerhouse that's built for the road.
With 2 single coil pickups and Rickenbacker's famed Stereo output effect, you can send your signal to two different amps. It's an incredible sound and one that continues to impress.
