The super resonant Mahogany body has slick curves and a really crisp Figured Maple top, the wood can really breathe and in turn produces lush, deep bass tones. Finished in the head-turning Mojito Lime Green, this bass looks simply amazing. The SR1400-MLG features a Mono-Rail V bridge, the ultimate in string isolation, it enhances vibration transfer without rattles or interference.
The SR neck is known for its slim, easy to play profile, with a 5 piece Wenge/Bubinga construction it has enhanced sustain, brighter tonal clarity and is just begging to be played. With Premium fret edge treatment, the frets are rounded for smooth and consistent playing.
The Nordstrand Big Single pickups deliver as much bass punch as you can cram into a soapbar style pickup! With a powerful, full force tonal texture, the Big Singles retain the same clarity you would expect of a single coil. A 3 band EQ system offers maximum control and with a huge variety of tonal options you will never be caught short! With a bypass switch and mid-frequency switch you can revert to a slightly more straightforward configuration with the treble tone becoming the global tone control for the passive circuit.
