Based around a standard Multiac, the DD signature features a thinline body with a twin chambered Mahogany body with a solid Spruce top. Finished in high gloss black it looks great but also works to resist feedback even on large stages. It has found that perfect balance between a sweet acoustic tone and feedback busting sealed top construction.
The Mahogany neck with Richlite fingerboard has a 16" radius; 25.5" scale length and offers a really smooth, comfortable playing surface. With the signature Doyle Dykes white rose inlay at the 12th fret it has a really distinctive appearance.
Loaded with an LR Baggs pickup and LB6 saddle transducer and Lyric Mic, the DD Multiac allows you to blend the direct tone of the transducer with the more nuanced sound that the Lyric for a really realistic acoustic tone. It sounds really organic and allows you to create your own tone. With an on board EQ and multiband compressor built in, this guitar is the perfect stage companion.
