Dustie Waring is the latest artist to benefit from a PRS signature model, as the big riffer in progressive metal band “Between the Buried and Me”, Dustie needed a guitar that could be both heavy and melodic, that could separate the light and the dark.
The starting point for the Dustie Waring signature was the CE bolt on design. With a satin finished Maple neck and fingerboard, modified pattern thin profile and Floyd Rose tremolo, this is a powerhouse guitar. Finished in either Satin Grey Black or Satin Waring Burst, it looks great and more importantly, it sounds great too.
With a unique combo of pickups, this really is Dustie’s signature sound. The DW Mojotone Tomahawk pickups are made with a blend of ceramic and alnico magnets with a special winding technique. With a big output and bottom end, they remain clear and articulate even when driven hard.
