A gorgeous AAA grade flame maple top finished in Honey Burst gives the appearance of a typical Les Paul Traditional and with no weight relief the historic tone wood combination is just as it was in the '50s. Beautiful tones and superb sustain.
Then this classic guitar gets a modern makeover. The beautiful mahogany Soloist neck with Fast-Access heel and a rounded Rosewood fingerboard is fast, comfortable and features a Titanium zero fret adjustable nut for incredible tone, sustain and durability. Upgraded G Force tuners offer fast, accurate tuning, perfect for alternate tunings and now with even smoother gears.
Loaded with Burstbucker 2 and 3+ humbuckers the HP is a little more on the edge than the T and with the push/pull and DIP switch you now have even more control over your tone. In fact, there are over 150 sonic variations on the 2017 Gibson Les Paul Traditional HP. It is easy to see why they named this guitar the High Performance.
