Gibson acoustic guitars have always been held in really high regard and amongst their back catalogue of iconic acoustic designs is the J-35. Initially introduced in the ‘30s, this 2018 model is a modern classic. Handcrafted using the same techniques and in the same facility as the legendary J-200's and J-45's, it’s a really sweet player.
With a Sitka Spruce top on top of a beautiful Mahogany body, this guitar is stunningly resonant and has great natural sustain. With a rich tonal variation that is great for full bodied strumming and more subtle finger style playing, it’s warm and expressive.
A Mahogany neck boasts a Rosewood fingerboard, with a 12" radius and 24.75” scale length it’s comfortable and familiar.
With an LR Baggs VTC pickup system as standard you can plug in and play anywhere. With great clarity and note definition the Element is one of the best acoustic preamp systems around, a perfect match for the J-35.
